AMAZING PLACES

Some of the 6th grade pupils have written about amazing places.

K2
It's the second highest mountain in the world. It's 8611 metres high. It's very cold because it is in the Himalaya. Many people climb the k2 every year.

IGUAZU FALLS

They are in the frontier of Argentina and Brazil. It's a beautiful place. It's a natural environment and there is a tropical forest. You can do water rafting and rock climbing there.

THE ALPS

They are in France, Italy and Switzerland. There are a lot of high mountains and there's snow the whole year. You can go skiing, walking and watch a lot of glaciers.

OJOS DEL SALADO
It's the highest volcano in the world with 6891 metres. It's in the Andes, in Chile and Argentina, near the Atacama Desert.

COVADONGA LAKES 
They are two small glaciar lakes called Enol and Ercina. They are in Cangas de Onis, in Asturias and you can reach them going by a terrible and narrow road. It's very frightened!
