World Book Day is a yearly event on April 23rd, organized by the UNESCO, to promote reading, publishing and copyright.

To celebrate this day, I've found two books about the Earth

The first one is The Earth book by Todd Parr

The second one is a book based on the famous song "What a wonderful world" Enjoy!

WORLD BOOK DAY 2018

As you know, on April 23rd we celebrate the World Book Day with lots of activities at school. This year, since our cultural week is focused on German language and culture, we dedicate this day to the Brothers Grimm.
The Brothers Grimm, Jacob and Wilhem, were born in Germany and wrote a lot of famous fairy tales as "Cinderella", "The Frog and the Prince", "Hansel and Gretel", "Rapunzel", "Sleeping Beauty" or "Snow White".
What's your favourite?

Look at this page I found about the Brothers Grimm in English and "Deutsch"

Have fun with some of these stories!

WORLD BOOK DAY

World Book Day is a yearly event on April 23rd, organized by the UNESCO, to promote reading, publishing and copyright.

The connection between 23 April and books was first made in 1923 by booksellers in Catalonia, Spain, as a way to honour the author Miguel de Cervantes, who died on this date.

In 1995 UNESCO decided that the World Book Day would be celebrated on 23 April, as the date is also the anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare and Garcilaso de la Vega.
